How can I find work partners to grapple for extra work without going through a dojo?

I know sometimes people will do extra grappling work outside of the dojo. That way you don't have to pay for it and you can set up a flexible schedule. In my case I'm focusing on Judo but could use the extra no gi grappling work and all I would need is someone with similar interest.

How could I find people interested in extra grappling work. I'm in San Bernadino County.

You are in a mecca of grapplers. On Sunday most weeks I know a bunch of guys that roll at a Rancho Cucamunga school. there isn't much in the way of mats but they have two nice ones. There is some great talent that shows up.

Drop me an email. kenneth_knapp @ yahoo .com I can help perhaps if you don't mind a drive.

Reply:1- bullshido.net has a throwdown section in the forums- try to see who wants to get together there.

2- craigs list????

3- the best source is always to see if people from class want to train with you outside, but since you said you don't want that then the other two- or similar situations (MA websites) might be your next best bet. I have no clue where san bernadino county is.
Reply:I'd say show up to a local mma match. Talk with the fighters and anyone who will talk. Most are really nice. sure you could hook up with a group like that. Check out the internet. Talk with any martial artist you can, you'll find one who at least knows someone. It may take some legwork but you'll find someone if you just let it be know your looking.
