on Zelda for the wii (you have to have the grappling hook) go to Ordon( your hometown) outside the mayor guys house there's a chicken that stands there shoot it with the grappling hook over and over until the camera angle changes and you will have full control of the chicken (for a couple of seconds any way).

not just with the grappling hook, but attacking the chicken in general will get you control of it. it's TP's version of the old "hit the chicken and destroy the natural order" that was in Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time... except in those games the chickens would summon an invincible army of other chickens to kill you unless you went into a house
