Probably gonna be in a fight, any tips?

Me and a some friends are gonna confront this one kid. It'll most likely end up with him having backup and there being a fight. I've been in a few fights before but they weren't against anyone who was especially good at fighting.

So I was wondering if anybody had any tips for me to defend myself, along with my friends. I know about going for the nose, diaphragm, getting a quick hit in first, etc. etc. I need techniques that can end a fight quickly and can be used with multiple opponents, so no grappling.

And just so you know, this guy started it all. There has to be a confrontation, and there doesn't HAVE to be a fight, but most probably it will happen and there's no walking away from the situation, so please don't bring that up.

Probably gonna be in a fight, any tips?
I would stay home that day.
Reply:you cant ever be fully prepared for a street fight, what you can do though is make sure you keep your guard up so no one can sucker punch up or anything, also make sure that you keep track of the number of people on his side and your side, if you are out numbered then dont make the mistake of focusing on just one guy, im not saying transition from guy to guy but most likely some is going to be free on the other side. Also keep up with how your friends are doing if they're getting thier *** kicked then help them any way you can but not if it means getting knocked out
Reply:Oh well everyone loves a good fight, but try not to make it public. I member some kids got in a fight in my school, and it got all over you tube, and people had it on their cell phones and stuff. Anyway back to your question 3 words, steel toed boots, works every time. If you dont happen to have those, another good tactic is scaring the crfap out of you adversary before the fight. Yet still if you need to fight aim for fragile parts, in my opinion hitting someone in the face ain't fair game, but thats jus me, cause it leaves mark after the fight. Any aim for the knees especially, and the joints. Still if you can get that persons nose to bleed immmediatly, I guarentee hell chicken out. Lastly, make sure your first hit is a real good one, so your oppenent knows your serious.

Hope this helps, and good luck in your fight.
Reply:Well, you have to be ready for the chance that they will have weapons.

So you'll need to bring your own. A good knifing usually gets a point across well. If you don't have a knife, blunt objects are almost as good, especially if you have one with reach like a baseball bat, lead pipe, etc. If you have a gun that would of course be the best choice. Don't let nobody push you around!
Reply:Wow, I was in one of those situations about two weeks ago. I had 5 friends with me, and they came with around 30, ready to fight. Luckily my friend is very good at negotiations, and we decided to meet on neutral grounds. But as for your question, bring as many people as you can. Bring weapons just in case. And also, right before you fight, get really insanely pissed at that person. He'll either get the message that your no joke and back away, or he won't know what to expect out of you.
Reply:go to youtube and type in "Bas Rutten Self Defense" helped me out...
Reply:run

very fast and very far

Most common logic when confronted with a fight.
Reply:Try to stay calm. I myself have a boxing match on Fri. of this week. Don't get pissed off. Rage never works in a fight and usually you expend energy getting mad. My advice is hit the guy first, then circle around him. The key is to keep moving. If you two lock up "headbutt" him in the face. I myself have used this countless times in a street fight. If you land your headbutt believe me the guy will want know parts of you. Good luck and beat the **** out of him for me.
