What heavy bag should I buy?

My options are:

Century Wavemaster XXL - $225

Century Water filled 125lb hanging bag, but I would have to

buy a hanging stand also - $250

I am 6' 240lbs with a fairly hard hit.

The 70lb bag I had would not hold up and swung all over the place.

Any help appreciated.

I am doing muay thai and grappling for mma training.

I think you should get the 125lb Century Water filled bag for the simple reason that the will give the bag some stability upon contact. Then besides that punches you land will have a more realistic feel to it. I had a very old model but it wasn't a Century. Thats my opinon but its up to you.
Reply:hey man id say get 2 or 3 for that matter 70 pound bags and tie them together somehow it may take some mcgyvering but it may be cheaper and it will give you more of a curvy target to hit squarely thus sharpening your punch. If you want to spend the money then get the Cent Wavemstr for 225 but you will eventually tear this one as well. Another suggestion is buy some tie downs for the 70 lb bag to keep it from flying all over the place. I like the stand but you will definately have to weight it down even with a 70 lb bag and make sure its rated for more weight if you buy the XXL. trust me it will break eventually and you will end up rigging it somehow. Good luck with the MMA.
Reply:i think you should buy xxl 225.simple
