Why does Yahoo allow baseless %26amp; false violations?
I just recieved another big fat V for a distinct question with EIGHT sub-questions, the reason? Not a Question or Answer
I know why this happens, I been grappling with it since I became a Yahooligan. It just infuriates me every time Yahoo allows a troll to violate the very Community Guidelines that us normal people uphold.
Why does Yahoo allow baseless %26amp; false violations...?
at least they give you a reason.
my last three have had nothing written as a reason.
Reply:That's a common violation reason!
Reply:I am not sure
Reply:Are you sure you don't have a little troll under your bridge?!
Reply:Man, I got a BA from someone, complimenting me on an excellent and hilarious answer, 10 pts in the bag !!.
And I was well pleased with it
2 days later in the morning I woke up to a VN for that same question.
Reason - NOT AN ANSWER ?.
The asker obviously thought it was, not even a contact of mine either, so no favoritism involved.
Yahoo is insane at times.
Making ludicrous decisions like that.
Reply:My very complaint against Yahoo Answers! I feel that the employees are either too stupid or lazy to actually look at the reports of abuse and separate the genuine from the bogus.
Of course, much of the system is automated and that's why if one or more trolls (or one troll with more than one account) reports you then your question or answer is deleted and you earn a nice juicy notice of violation.
But apparently a human doesn't review our appeals when we challenge a notice. I don't even get responses 90% of the time and the other 10% is automated and basically just tells me that I'm screwed.
Welcome to YaHELL.
Reply:As Fyre %26amp; Reign says, WELCOME TO YaHELL,Where do you think the TROLLS congregate*whispers ,YA! HQ*
It's like computer viruses, they come from the pricks that work at the ANTI virus companies. Keeps them in a job
